Description

A positive embossing or embossed logo means that when we punch and fold the paper we also manufacture a two-sided metal tool that is mounted in the punch tool. One side is then positive and the other one is negative, like a female and a male. The paper is squeezed between the two surfaces and leaves an elevated pattern.

This is the most common variant and is often combined with a laminated logo or UV varnish on the logo. This type of embossing is sometimes used across the entire surface of the paper to create different effects such as skin embossing, crocodile embossing, linen embossing or simpler patterns like stripes.
