On some bags there is a folded top. Turn over top. Our productrange “paperbags advanced” and rope handle bags are such examples. It is called J-cut or “turn over top” and means that the paper is folded double in the top of the bag. It gives a smooth edge on the top and some increased durability and stability in the bag.

At the luxury bags we put a cardboard between the layers of paper to reinforce the bag. This is glued together with the bag and then punches four holes for the knots to the handles. Without the cardboard, the rope handles would tear the paper and the bag would break.
